Esola Jewellers have the new billboard up near the North Fremantle train station in Perth.  I am very happy with the way the photos turned out, printed that large they look amazing.  

Precious Pieces are soon launching their new website and they recently booked me in to do their product photography.  The brief was to capture the colour and brilliance of the pieces without introducing fancy or distracting backgrounds to the images.  These images are to be used as the category headliners on their website so they had to attract attention in order to lure the visitor to the website to click on each particular category.  

R J Pearce Jewellers recently booked me to create an image for their Scoop Magazine full page advertisement.  It was a fun but also a tricky shoot because the placement of the hands and the jewellery had to be just right.  After 3hrs of working we finally had the shot!  I had to work on it digitally to sharpen the pieces and soften the skin a little bit but in overall, what we shot on the night is what you see right here!

Roger Cook is the WA Shadow Minister for Health, Sport and Recreation.  This portrait I took of him the other week will be used in a magazine article for the Australian Medical Association.     

Jewellery and Giftware industries have trade fairs few times a year.  These are massive events where many of my clients exhibit their new ranges and often they require photography for their company stand displays.  Here are a few images I recently shot for such use.  These photos will be printed on banners that will most probably hang from the roof of my client's display at the next trade fair in Sydney.

Architecture photography is something I have recently started shooting more and more of.  It is most certainly due to the growing Perth new homes real estate market.  Recently I spent two days shooting on location for a home builder who wanted clean, creative images of their display homes to use for their advertising campaign.  

Robin Wells is a local Perth jeweller and designer.  She recently asked me to take a few shots of her work that will be going into an Australian wide jewellery competition.  Here are a few for you to see. 

At the start of the year I joined the committee of Made on the Left Markets.  One of my roles there is to photograph the markets, products and people who attend and exhibit at our markets.  The photos featured here are of She Seldom Blushes designer Fern Vallesi, who has sold her jewellery at many of our markets over the years and now owns her own store in Atwell Arcade, 112 High Street, Fremantle.  Attached article talks about our upcoming July market.  It is written by Sarah Dalziel.

Winter Market

Taking baby photos is as much enjoyable as it is hard work!  Babies are so cute and entertaining to be around, but getting that one amazing shot where they are smiling or staring straight into the lens, or holding still so that you can get their eyes crystal sharp, that takes patience and time.  A few weeks ago, a lovely couple whose wedding I shot a few years back asked me to photograph their baby son.  We did the shoot at their home because I like to use natural light when photographing babies and also because a baby is much more relaxed and happy when it is in it's own room, surrounded by it's favourite toys.  Mum and Dad had to play clowns for a few hours but it paid off and now they have beautiful images of their baby boy to treasure for a lifetime.
