Made on the Left Markets

SheSeldomBlushes08SheSeldomBlushes16SheSeldomBlushes19At the start of the year I joined the committee of Made on the Left Markets.  One of my roles there is to photograph the markets, products and people who attend and exhibit at our markets.  The photos featured here are of She Seldom Blushes designer Fern Vallesi, who has sold her jewellery at many of our markets over the years and now owns her own store in Atwell Arcade, 112 High Street, Fremantle.  Attached article talks about our upcoming July market.  It is written by Sarah Dalziel.

Winter Market

There’s no denying it – summer is gone and winter is settling in. With plenty of chilly weather and (hopefully) rainy days ahead, thankfully Perth can count on another Made on the Left winter market to brighten their grey skies.

Made on the Left is a not for profit organisation that supports the best independently made art, design, fashion and homewares created right here on the left side of Australia.  In its forth year we have seen a number of independent designers expand from a selling their designs as stall holders to being stocked in shops, opening their own stores and developing well known brands that are included as part of Perth Fashion Festival.

The Made on the Left winter market will be held Sunday 10th July 11-5pm at one40william Level 1 corner of William Street and Murray Street Mall, Perth.  For more information follow Made on the Left on Facebook, www.madeontheleft.org.au or watch this video featured on The West Australian online paper.
